Data security is greatly enhanced with extensive computational resources and processing. Nesten’s consensus leverages the cryptographical strength of Proof of Work (PoW) for block generation and improves the block validation with Proof of Stake (PoS).
Nesten’s Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) lends itself to a highly scalable system. The consensus voting is achieved with an elected set of delegates and super-delegates.
Nesten DPoS is optimized for maximum network speed. It can dynamically resize and/or repartition the voting delegates.

Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS)
Delegates are elected via a voting process based on Nesten coin holdings. Regular delegates are responsible for data block validation and storage, while super-delegates handle payment transactions as well as algorithm changes. DPoS paves the way for a highly scalable network architecture.
Proof of Work (PoW)
PoW ensures the blockchain’s fidelity with strong cryptographic hash computations, thereby minimizing the chance of invalid transactions being included in the blockchain.
Performance Metrics (PM)
The PM are designed to incentivize the gateway hosts to provide a high backhaul bandwidth with impeccable reliability.
Delegates are elected through a voting process based on Nesten token holdings. Compounding rewards incentivize them to contribute to the system’s efficiency and integrity.
Super-delegates contribute to key system decisions and handle financial transactions. The importance of their tasks is reflected in their rewards.
Delegates perform extensive processing of block validation and storage. They are the fuel powering the Nesten blockchain.
